QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

This role will assist Service Manager, Resource Manager and Site Manager on variety of projects of varying sizes and scope.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Learn the fundamentals of project management, scheduling, resource loading, and cost control to support the FieldCore Site Manager
• Assist the Service Manager in the research projects, simplification projects, tracking and execution of customer warranty claims on assigned turbine/generator equipment
• Provide remote and on-site support to wind farms to expedite parts, third party suppliers, out-of-area Field Engineers and communications to the FieldCore team at site
• On-site shutdown/ installation experience with renewables site, in the capacity of assistant to the Site Manager
• Track the completion of training courses
• General Tech/Admin assistance to the Ops team
• Receiving customer calls
• Communicating with field technicians
• Arranging sub contracts and other resources for jobs
• Project controls; Cost tracking, purchasing, invoicing and expediting
• Order equipment and PPE as needed
• Preparation of Excel spreadsheets and online input to FieldCore PM systems
• Organizing activities and logistics
• Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments
• Travel may be required
• May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• University degree in course of completion in Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Energy Systems).
• Open to current students who will be returning to their in-class studies upon the completion of the work term.
• English proficiency required
