We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to join our dynamic team. As the Procurement Assistant, you will be assisting our supply chain operations by having an active role in procurement by ensuring the efficient and timely acquisition of goods and services. Your knowledge of procurement will ensure smooth daily operations of the department. You will be assisting many aspects of the supply chain including inventory tracking, vendor management, conducting market research, preparing bid/procurement documents, and any other supportive tasks.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying potential vendors, conducting market research, and evaluating their capabilities, quality, and pricing,
- Assist in creating and processing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, compliance with company policies, and timely execution,
- Collaborate with vendors to negotiate favorable terms, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services,
- Assist in collection of the quotations, bid analysis and comparison charts,
- Monitor purchase order status, track shipments, and resolve any discrepancies or delays,
- Maintain accurate delivery and shipment tracker and keep related records accurate and digitalized,
- Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular inventory checks, identifying shortages or surplus, and proposing appropriate actions,
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies to optimize procurement processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency,
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and legal requirements,
- Maintain accurate procurement files, including vendor records, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and correspondence,
- Support coordination with other departments to gather purchase requisitions and specifications to initiate procurement process,
- Contribute to procurement daily to-do list and submission of reports if required.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent experience),
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related field is preferred,
- Familiarity with procurement regulations and best practices in a global tech company or a similar industry,
- Proficient in using procurement software, MS Office (particularly Excel),
- Proficiency in Turkish and English languages,
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously,
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills,
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement effective solutions,
- Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities to engage with suppliers and drive favorable terms.
