Purpose of the Job

Internship Duration 
 
The GEnius; Early Identification Development Program is 6 months’ internship program which runs from July to December. During the summer period, you are expected to work for five (5) days a week and from Mid-September through December on part time based on your academic schedule (at least 20 hours).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Undergraduate students in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering at 3rd or 04th degree in the following academic year (2020-2021) and maintaining student status throughout the internship
• Have a high standard of written and spoken English
• Good command of MS Office Skills (MS Word, Excel, Power point)
• Committed to 6 months’ internship – Able to work full time from July to September and from September onwards, 20 hours per week by the end of the internship period

• Basic level of foreign trade (Such as knowledge in major shipping docs and Incoterms etc)

Key Responsibilities

• To prepare work orders to be sent to Customs Broker before shipments
• Follow up the status of shipments and customs clearance process by contacting with Forwarders and Broker when required
• To learn major steps of Master Tracking Application tool to use “shipment module”
• To assist logistics specials in preparing and checking shipping docs
• Follow up PO and delivery status/ Controlling invoices and getting approval from PM/ Controlling GR and IR
