Internship Duration
The GEnius; Early Identification Development Program is 6 months’ internship program which runs from July to December. During the summer period, you are expected to work for five (5) days a week and from Mid-September through Decemberon part time based on your academic schedule (at least 20 hours).
We offer real world challenges/ learn by doing, mentorship from/work with leaders in your field and opportunity to see where you fit.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Undergraduate students in Biomedical Engineering (also biomedical technician background could be an asset) 3rd or 4th degree in the following academic year (2020-2021) and maintaining student status throughout the internship.
• Have a high standard of written and spoken English
• Good command of MS Office Skills (MS Word, Excel, Power point)
• Committed to 6 months’ internship –Able to work full time from July to September and from September onwards, 20 hours per week by the end of the internship period

Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting program/technical reviews with customer and generate regular program updates for customer and internal management
• Ensuring effective communication on all program elements among internal, external organizations and customer
• Providing Technical Support to operational Project Manager(s) / PPP Biomed Manager on installations as required
• Providing technical expertise on the medical equipment quoted in the PPP bids
• Providing technical training support and expertise for the group, evaluate technical documentation
• Evaluating Technical Medical Equipment Specifications for Schedule 13 list of equipment
• Controlling of Installations of GE and non-GE Equipment are installed to specification and on time
• Knowledge and practical experience of Biomed Services business and processes such as RFID, Maintenance software implementation, subcontractor management, calibration, repair shop activities
